This layout is my latest for the AAM Challenge. We were told to chose our worst flaw and scrap about it. There were so many great layouts on the blog hop that it was really intimidating for me.
But I finally decided just to buckle down and do mine. Here's what the journaling says:
"In the fourth grade my teacher asked us to write a story. Other girls wrote about horses and rainbows. my title? "Niki: Girl with a Brain Tumor". I've always been such a drama queen. What you don't see in this picture is that I am totally stressed. We took about 100 pictures because I have to have everything right and just my way. I try so hard not to make such a big deal out of things but I can't help it! It's like a crazy person is released and goes crazy on everyone else. It is by far my biggest flaw and the most annoying to me and those around me. I'm always making mountains out of molehills. But, believe it or not, I am getting better. So who knows? Maybe there is hope for me yet!"
Anyway. I had a total blast. I used Theresa Collins papers and thoroughly enjoyed them. I have a little boy and I don't get to scrap with pink very often! It was a real treat. Thanks for looking!

Here is my entry for the My Mind's Eye Challenge # 10. I used a different part of the song than most people but I liked the way it turned out. It's hard to see but I flocked the clouds and there are clear raindrops on and around the journaling. All the paper is from Quite Contrary and the letters are from the Lush line.

Jamie's Recent Layouts
The leaving the nest is a scraplift from a SarahN who posted a similiar page on the Cricut website. This page is really sparkly, with tons of jewels in the grass, tree, and the sun. Timpanogos Caves was made with My Minds Eye Laundry Line. Easter 04 is made out of BoBunnys Love Bandit Paper. There are lots of stickles on the circle diecuts. Bellagio Conservatory page was made out of We are Memory Keepers.

Here's the challenge I, Alisha, did for the AAM Challenge #14. It was suppose to be about letting go. I chose to do it about my son Max. I had this vision of what my life would be like after he was born. Needless to say it is not always sunshine and roses with a toddler. But I'm learning that I need to let go of that idea and go more with the flow. If he has a messy face. . .so what? Anyway this challenge was a lot of fun. I look forward to the next one.
"Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak;
sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go."
